M. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (currently studying)
Originally from Bathurst, Charlie thrives on developing and maintaining connections with his clients, and finds that fostering relationships ultimately achieves better results. The relationship he develops with his clients allows him to develop effective programs, specific to his client’s needs.
Charlie's first career was as a strength and conditioning coach in Sydney, where he worked with everyone from weekend warriors to Wallabies. This journey inspired Charlie to pursue a career in Physiotherapy to compliment his passion for strength and conditioning. Charlie enjoys using his strength and conditioning knowledge in a physiotherapy context. Charlie is also a keen golfer and is a certified TPI golf physio.
More recently, Charlie has spent a year abroad running his own contracting business out of several sports clinics and gyms in Edinburgh, Scotland (the family homeland!). Here Charlie further developed his practice in end-stage rehabilitation and performance working with national-level athletes from rugby to, even, shooting.
Charlie worked across regional NSW, Sydney and the UK in both Strength and Conditioning and Physiotherapy capacities privately, and for a variety of sporting teams including: the GWS AFL Academy; Southern Inland and Brumbies Provincial Representative Rugby Union teams.
Charlie's additional niche interest is headache, spinal and vestibular conditions, a complex area that benefits from developing a deep understanding of his clients needs.
Whilst not studying his Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, Charlie enjoys burning meat in his smoker, and chasing his Dachshunds, named Moose and Elk.
